Birth Hubs

If you've experienced birth trauma, our Birth Hubs are a place of refuge, support, comfort and connection. A Birth Hub will include a sharing space or circle, informal peer support, a relaxed space to be with each other, along with access to professionals such as midwives, psychotherapists, somatic healers and more. You can access the full sharing circle if you wish, or just have a cup of tea with someone.

Here are the dates for our upcoming 2024 Birth Hubs in two South Devon locations- in Ashburton at Hands on Retreat and in Paignton at Park Field House. If you would like to join us please register by clicking the booking link next to the event you wish to attend.

2024 Birth Hubs

21st October at Ashburton:

Hands on Retreat, Pridhamsleigh, Devon

Times are 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for all sessions. Cost is £5.50 Concession fee, £10.50 Full price. Please arrives 5 mins before the start of the session to ensure we can start on time.

We understand it can be intimidating joining a group for the first time especially around such a vulnerable part of our life.  We have created the hubs in the hope you feel comfortable coming to a shared space with other mums who have also experienced birth trauma. We know that by spending time together, listening and experiencing empathy together through the sharing our stories can support our healing journey.

Each month may vary on what support is available based on our guest experts. We will run talks on based on subjects requested by our participants, such as the path to recovery from birth trauma.

"I really hope that women and their families draw some comfort that there are people out there that care and we want to walk alongside you in your individual journey to recovery."
Kim O'Brien, YouMeMind Trustee
